CEO of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), Rod Beckstrom, to Discuss the Future of the Internet

WASHINGTON, January 9, 2012—The Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) Technology and Public Policy Program will host Rod Beckstrom, CEO of ICANN, to discuss the implications of the Internet’s largest domain name expansion since its inception, along with its rapid internationalization.
James A. Lewis, senior fellow and director of the CSIS Technology and Public Policy Program, will provide an introduction, and Mr. Beckstrom will take questions from the audience following his address.
