CSIS Press Briefing: Cordesman to Discuss Afghanistan

WASHINGTON, July 23, 2009 – The Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) Arleigh A. Burke Chair in Strategy Anthony Cordesman briefed members of the press after his month-long trip to Afghanistan, where he served on ISAF Commander Gen. Stanley McChrystal’s Strategic Assessment Group. He presented his personal views and analysis, which do not reflect the views of the assessment group or any U.S. official or officer.
