WASHINGTON, June 7, 2011—The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the CSIS New Defense Approaches Project host Lt. General Flynn, commander of the Marine Corps Combat Development Command, to speak about the future of amphibious operations and the role of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Dr. Maren Leed, director of the CSIS New Defense Approaches Project, will moderate the discussion.
