Gary Miller and Lael Brainard to Discuss U.S. Capital Increases to Multilateral Development Banks at CSIS

WASHINGTON, October 4, 2011—The Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) Project on Prosperity and Development will host Representative Gary Miller (R-CA) and Treasury Undersecretary for International Affairs Lael Brainard to discuss the future of U.S. leadership in multilateral development banks (MDBs) and the current need for capital increases to them.

A panel discussion will follow the opening addresses and will be moderated by Daniel F. Runde, director of the Project on Prosperity and Development and William A. Schreyer Chair in Global Analysis at CSIS. The full agenda is below.
