CSIS to host public rollout of ExxonMobil’s 2012 Outlook for Energy

WASHINGTON, D.C., December 6, 2011 – The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Energy and National Security Program will host a public rollout of ExxonMobil’s 2012 Outlook for Energy on Thursday, December 8, 2011. The report, updated each year, is built upon detailed analysis of data from about 100 countries, incorporating publicly available information as well as in-house expertise. ExxonMobil uses the Outlook to guide long-term investment decisions.
Presenting the Outlook will be ExxonMobil executives William Colton, vice president, Corporate Strategic Planning, and Kenneth Cohen, vice president, Public and Government Affairs. David Pumphrey, deputy director and senior fellow of the Energy and National Security Program at the Center for Strategic & International Studies, will moderate the session.
The event will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. EST in the fourth floor conference room at CSIS: 1800 K Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20006. As space is limited, please register to attend no later than close of business on Wednesday, December 7, 2011. All responses should be sent to aschwartz@csis.org.
