The Honorable Mourad Medelci to discuss the future of Algeria and North Africa at CSIS Statesmen's Forum

WASHINGTON, January 12, 2012—The Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) Middle East Program will host Mourad Medelci, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria, to explore his country’s position within a transformed North Africa following the popular uprisings and civil unrest in the region in past months at the next CSIS Statesmen’s Forum.
Mr. Medelci will bring unique insight to this issue, having filled ministerial posts in trade and finance, as well as being an adviser to President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
