Shaping the Strategic Landscape on Technology for the National Security Enterprise

In the spring of 2015, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) hosted a roundtable discussion with key subject-matter experts to develop practical, actionable recommendations for ways to shape the future of biometric and identity intelligence in the security landscape. Against the backdrop of a changing security landscape, the group exchanged views on some of the key challenges that leaders must address when considering the future role of biometrics and identity intelligence in security. Roundtable participants discussed the future of American security and intelligence capabilities and how biometrics is poised to evolve. This report summarizes the discussion.
