PONI 2011 Fall Conference

The Project on Nuclear Issues held its 2011 Fall Conference on  September 8 – 9. The event, co-hosted by LLNL’s Center for Global Security Research, involved 120 participants and consisted of panel discussions covering a range of nuclear science and policy issues. Guests also toured the National Ignition Facility, the Center for Accelerator Mass Spectrometry, and the Terascale Simulation Facility. Keynote speakers for the event included Dr. Ron Lehman III, Center for Global Security Research Director; Dr. Ian Hutcheon, Glen T. Seaborg Institute Co-director; and Dr. Bruce Goodwin, Principal Associate Director for Weapons Programs.
