Algerian Foreign Minister at CSIS
On March 22, 2007, Algeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Bedjaoui, spoke with a small group of CSIS experts in an informal meeting. Dr. Bedjaoui highlighted opportunities for positive change in Algeria, the importance of regional integration in the Maghreb, and the diverse range of countries with which Algeria has active counter-terror cooperation. Bedjaoui also stressed the importance to finding a resolution to the Western Sahara conflict for Sahrawis themselves, as well as for surrounding countries.
