Please join us for a high-level panel discussion on the U.S. government’s Partnership for Growth (PfG), an ongoing effort to coordinate development efforts across agencies and facilitate natural engagement with the private sector. Launched in 2011, PfG is guided by the goals of country ownership and partnership, transparency, political commitment to development, and fact-based monitoring and evaluation. The panel will feature voices from each of the major implementing agencies, who will discuss initial takeaways from the partnerships with El Salvador, Ghana, Philippines, and Tanzania.

CSIS’s forthcoming report, Toward a New Paradigm of Sustainable Development: Lessons from the Partnership for Growth, examines a route to sustainable development that allows U.S. government agencies to catalyze sustained economic growth through proactive partnerships and a coordinated strategy.

This event is part of CSIS’ s ongoing “Chevron Forum on Development” series, which seeks to highlight innovative approaches to global development. This will be a timely and informative discussion.
