Roundtable discussion with Nurlan Ermekbayev, Advisor to the President of Kazakhstan
New European Democracies Project hosted a breakfast roundtable with Nurlan Ermekbayev, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Mr. Ermekbayev will discuss recent political developments in Kazakhstan, including the April 3rd presidential elections, as well the country’s foreign policy priorities.Also participating at the roundtable will be Mr. Marat Beketayev, Vice-minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Mr. Kuandyk Bishimbayev, Vice Minister for Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event is co-hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the Institute for New Democracies in cooperation with the Embassy of Kazakhstan.
