British Amb. David Manning discussed the future of the transatlantic partnership at CSIS on March 29. He praised the multilateral approach to Libya, called for stronger European defense preparedness, and urged the United States and Europe to work harder at their relationship, which has grown tenuous since the start of the Iraq war.
