Yang Jiechi, Vice Foreign Minister, Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Thursday, October 12, 2006 8:00 am - 8:00 am

Yang Jiechi, China's vice foreign minister, gave a speech at a meeting of CSIS's International Councillors in Beijing. The International Councillors group is the center's most prestigious. The small group, which has been chaired by Henry Kissinger since 1977, is composed of select business leaders drawn from every corner of the world. The councillors meet twice annually for an informal, off-the-record dialogue on the most current and pressing issues of global interest and concern.
