Trying War Crimes in Bosnia and Herzegovina

A roundtable discussion with delegates of the Special War Crimes Chamber and the Ministry of Justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As the 10th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords approaches (November 21), CSIS and USIP co-hosted a delegation comprised of the Ministry of Justice and the Special War Crimes Chamber from Bosnia and Herzegovina.  The delegation discussed their process of transitional justice, as well as the most effective means of prosecuting war crimes while bringing stability and security to the post-war nation.
