Featuring:

The Foreign Service serves as a unique platform for implementing U.S. foreign policy objectives abroad and supports the complementary work of U.S. development and diplomacy initiatives. Working in 265 diplomatic missions around the world, the Foreign Service seeks to promote peace and stability in areas of U.S. national interest. Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the Director General of the Foreign Service and former Ambassador to the Republic of Liberia, will join us to discuss her experiences as a career Foreign Service officer and provide insights into diplomatic opportunities for young professionals. Prior to her appointment as Director General in April of this year, Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield held various posts in locations including Jamaica, Pakistan, Kenya, and Switzerland. She has also worked on a range of development-related issues in both the Bureau for African Affairs and the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration.
