The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has played a significant role in the emergence of middle-income countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Several of these countries have demonstrated a more complex set of development needs. To sustain this trend, the IDB has partnered with both middle-income countries and the private sector to foster impactful trade and development outcomes in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Join us for a conversation with IDB executive directors as they discuss the growing role of the IDB, as well as the impact of emerging shareholders, South-South cooperation, the Multilateral Investment Fund, and the post-Busan development agenda on trade and development issues in the region.
