American Innovation Roadshow: Panel Discussion
The CSIS Chair for Southeast Asia Studies and Wadhwani Chair in U.S.-India Policy Studies are pleased to invite you for a conversation on the American Innovation Roadshow with Ambassador David Thorne, Senior Advisor to the Secretary of State, Charles H. Rivkin, Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs, and Ziad Haider, Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs.
Rivkin and Haider have recently returned from India, and Thorne from Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, to inaugurate the American Innovation Roadshow. Participants to the Roadshow included representatives from U.S. multinational companies, financial investors, and successful early stage companies. The Southeast Asia Roadshow off of the recent U.S.-ASEAN Special Leaders’ Summit. Both roadshows promote the United States’ brand of innovation and entrepreneurship and aims to strengthen U.S. economic engagement.
