CSIS Press Briefing: 5 years of the Budget Control Act and Its Future Post-2016

WASHINGTON, July 29, 2016 : CSIS will host a press briefing featuring Todd Harrison, CSIS Defense Budget Analysis program director, on the 5th anniversary of the enactment of the Budget Control Act (BCA). He will discuss and answer questions on what the BCA has meant for defense over the past five years, what predictions have and have not come true, and how the BCA will continue to impact defense over the next five years, including the effect on major acquisition programs like the F-35.

This briefing is the first in a series of monthly sessions held by Mr. Harrison and the CSIS International Security Program and will serve as a resource to members of the media as they interpret this complex defense environment. Breakfast will be served.
