Newseum Screening and Panel Discussion - "Ebola in America: Epidemic of Fear"
On October 13, the CSIS Global Health Policy Center held a public screening of the groundbreaking documentary, “Ebola in America: Epidemic of Fear,” at the Newseum Institute. A panel discussion on how Americans experienced Ebola in 2014 and the news media’s role in that health crisis followed the screening. The full video of the discussion can be viewed above. Panelists included Helene Cooper, The New York Times; Ray Suarez, former “PBS NewsHour” correspondent; and Steve Morrison, CSIS Global Health Policy Center Director and Senior Vice President.
