Eastern Mediterranean: Energy and Geopolitics

Recent large natural gas discoveries in the Eastern Mediterranean present both an opportunity and challenge for a region that needs to meet growing demand but is hindered by regional conflicts and instability. Join Ed Chow, (Senior Fellow, Energy & National Security Program, CSIS), Haim Malka (Deputy Director and Senior Fellow, Middle East Program) and Heather Conley (Senior Vice President for Europe, Eurasia, and the Arctic; and Director, Europe Program) for a lively discussion on the changing energy landscape in the Eastern Mediterranean and how economic and political uncertainty will impact the way these resources are developed.
