On this edition of Russian Roulette, Olga and Jeff geek out Russian military analyst-style. First, they sit down with Mathieu Boulegue, a partner at the risk management and strategic research consulting firm AESMA, to discuss the current state and future evolution of the Russian military-industrial complex. Then, while Olga rocks out on vacation (see below), Jeff chats with Sergey Denisentsev, a visiting fellow here with the Russia and Eurasia Program and a senior research fellow at the Center of Analysis of Strategies and Technologies (CAST) in Moscow, about import substitution and the effect of sanctions on the Russian defense industry.
