Online Event: Standard-Setting from a European Perspective

CSIS continues its exploration of the critical role that standards-setting plays in the prosperity of the United States and other countries. In this fourth session, we will hear from Mr. Peter Brown, who is with the European Parliament’s Liaison Officer here in Washington, DC.  While Mr. Brown’s responsibilities range widely, he has had direct experience with Europe’s approach to setting international standards.  Mr. Brown will help listeners understand Europe’s philosophy and operational approach to establishing standards.
