Damola Durosomo is a culture writer and journalist with a focus on arts and culture from Africa and the diaspora. She previously worked as a senior writer at OkayAfrica, where she covered the intersections of music, film, politics, literature, history, and more as they pertain to youth culture on the continent. She has contributed to the BBC, Afropunk, Africa Is a Country, and more, and has also appeared on CSIS's Into Africa podcast. She holds a master’s in international affairs and media and culture from The New School.
