Alec C. Blivas

Program Coordinator, International Security Program

Alec Blivas is a program coordinator for the International Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where he facilitates event planning, outreach efforts, and supports the project’s research agenda. Prior to joining CSIS, he worked as a research assistant with the security and foreign affairs team at the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, where he researched Chinese defense and security policy. He holds a B.A. in history and political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is currently pursuing an M.A. in global security studies from Johns Hopkins University.
