Alexandra Chopenko is a program manager for the Freeman Chair in China Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where she is responsible for managing Interpret: China, an open-source analysis project. Prior to joining CSIS, Alexandra lived in Beijing, China, managing global marketing and foreign client work at an intellectual property law firm. She holds a master's degree in international studies from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies Hopkins-Nanjing Center and a bachelor's degree in political science and Chinese language from the University of Florida. Alexandra speaks Russian and Chinese.
