Allison E. Viescas

Allison Viescas is executive director of the Global Health Policy Center at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Ms. Viescas joined CSIS in April 2020 and brings over 18 years of experience in U.S. government and privately funded program finance and operations. Ms. Viescas previously served as program manager for SourceAmerica, Institute of International Education, and World Resources Institute where she was responsible for managing and executing contracts that delivered educational exchange, transportation, and career pathway programs to constituents domestically and abroad. She joins CSIS to support the Global Health Policy Center staff in executing the program’s finance and operations. A certified project management professional (PMP), Ms. Viescas holds a master’s of public administration in management from the New York University Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service and a bachelor’s of arts in political science and Mandarin Chinese from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.
