Catherine Chiang

Program Coordinator and Research Assistant, Africa Program

Catherine Chiang is a project coordinator and research assistant with the CSIS Africa Program. Prior to joining CSIS, Cat was a research assistant at Georgetown University under Dr. Elizabeth Arsenault, focusing mainly on the organizational structure and leadership of terrorist groups. Cat has also worked with the Africa Center for Strategic Studies and Amnesty International. She is currently pursuing her M.A. at Georgetown University and has a B.A. from UCLA in political science.
