
Christian Géraud Neema Byamungu is an analyst and observer of China-Africa relations. He researches natural resources revenues management and is currently the francophone editor of the China Africa Project, a multimedia project covering China's involvement in Africa. Prior to this, Christian Géraud worked as a project manager for a Congolese mining company in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and later as a consultant on good governance and policy advocacy for the Centre d’Etudes pour l’Action Sociale, a Jesuit research center. He is a graduate of Renmin University of China and holds a master's degree in international development from the International University of Japan.
