Christina Hartman is an executive leader, former candidate for elected office, and global advocate for democracy, fair elections, and women’s rights. Ms. Hartman currently serves as the director of government partnerships at Bitwise Industries. Ms. Hartman has worked as a leader at nonprofits for more than 20 years. From start-ups to organizations that need to become sustainable to turn-arounds, she has managed the operations, finance, human resources, governance, fundraising, programs, and advocacy of several high-profile organizations in more than 15 countries around the globe. Throughout her career, Ms. Hartman has been charged with developing strategic plans, troubleshooting failing projects, and supporting teams through times of change. She has extensive subject area expertise in civil society, elections, and dictatorships, including training congressional candidates in Liberia and monitoring the 2019 Ukrainian presidential elections. In 2016 and 2018, Ms. Hartman ran for U.S. Congress in Pennsylvania’s former 16th district. In 2019-2020, she ran for Pennsylvania auditor general.
