Conor Chapman

Conor Chapman is the program coordinator and research assistant for the Wadhwani Center for AI and Advanced Technologies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Alongside providing program support, Conor conducts research on AI governance, emerging technology policy, military use of AI, and the economic impacts of advanced technologies. Prior to joining CSIS, Conor received his MPhil in the history and philosophy of science from the University of Cambridge, where his research focused on ethics, non-epistemic values, and epistemology in modern science and emerging technologies. He holds a BA from Pitzer College, where he doubled majored in philosophy and science, technology and society.
