Cyrus Newlin
Cyrus Newlin is an associate fellow with the Europe, Russia, and Eurasia Program, where he oversees work on Russian domestic politics and political economy as well as U.S.-Russia relations. From 2019-2020, he lived and worked in Moscow as an Alfa Fellow with Bank of America, analyzing geopolitical risk in the Commonwealth of Independent States region as part of an award-winning team of equity and fixed income analysts. From 2017-2019, he was research associate and program manager with the Russia and Eurasia Program. Cyrus received his B.A. in political science and Russian studies from Swarthmore College, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
