Elena Tiedens

Elena Tiedens is the Fall 2025 Scoville Fellow for the Project on Nuclear Issues. She graduated with an MA and BA in history and a minor in Russian from the University of Chicago. Elena’s research focused on civilian nuclear infrastructure in the Russian Arctic. Elena has previously held internships at Earth Law Center and the Wilderness Society, as well as various research assistantships at the University of Chicago.
