Jennifer Marron

Jenny Marron leads policy impact and strategic engagement at the Institute for AI Policy and Strategy (IAPS), translating research into practical guidance for government, industry, and civil society navigating emerging AI technologies. With 20 years spanning foreign policy, national security, and development, Jenny has extensive experience anticipating and responding to complex challenges. Prior to joining IAPS, Jenny served at the White House National Security Council and held multiple positions at the Department of State, where she led teams focused on peace processes, conflict stabilization, and advanced analytics for monitoring global instability. She also led InterAction's advocacy and policy efforts, coordinating strategy across a coalition of organizations delivering humanitarian aid and reducing poverty around the world. Her work spans mediation, contingency planning, crisis preparedness, and policy communication across multiple regions and security contexts. Jenny holds an MA in law and diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a BA in political science from Duke University.
