Kasey Welch is a program coordinator and research assistant with the Missile Defense Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Prior to joining CSIS, she spent four years as an active-duty U.S. Army officer and currently serves as a captain in the National Guard. She has also worked at the Wilson Center, National Defense University, and the University of Chicago's Committee on International Relations. She holds an MA in international relations from the University of Chicago and a BA in international relations from Boston University.
