Kirtika Sharad is a program manager for the Chair on India and Emerging Asia Economics at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Prior to joining CSIS, she worked at the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) with the Center for Russia and Europe for three years. She began as an administrative assistant and later served as a program assistant and a senior program assistant. In these roles, she planned events and travel, supported budgeting and accounting, and contributed to research on the war in Ukraine. During her undergraduate studies, Kirtika served as a research assistant at the George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs from 2020-2021 and as a congressional intern for Congressman Bill Pascrell in 2019. Kirtika holds a B.S. in International Affairs with a concentration in conflict resolution from the George Washington University.
