MacKenzie Hammond

Program Coordinator, Project on Prosperity and Development (PPD) and Project on U.S. Leadership in Development (USLD)
MacKenzie Hammond is a program coordinator for the CSIS Project on Prosperity and Development (PPD) and Project on U.S. Leadership in Development (USLD) where she coordinates events and supports the projects’ research agenda. Prior to becoming program coordinator in May 2018, she was an intern in the PPD and USLD programs. Her research interests include workforce development, comparative education, and the role of institutions in economic development. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Texas A&M University with a focus on politics and diplomacy in Latin America and the Caribbean and studied Spanish at the Universidad de Granada in Granada, Spain.
