Oorvi Budhwar

Oorvi Budhwar is a program coordinator for the Chair in U.S.-India Policy Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). In her current role, she provides coordination, management, and research for projects surrounding India’s national and subnational development, especially through government-private sector and U.S.-based engagements. She has held many research positions and internships within the policy sphere, including at CSIS, the Center for Public Policy at VCU Wilder School, and both the Virginia Senate and the Virginia House of Representatives. Oorvi holds a BA in political science, with a concentration in international relations, from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she graduated magna cum laude and with departmental honors.
