Pearl Risberg is a research associate with the Economics Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), organizing the program’s public events, coordinating the program’s publications, and conducting supportive research in East Asian macroeconomic issues and policy. Previously, Ms. Risberg interned with the Reconnecting Asia Project at CSIS, conducting research on infrastructure connectivity and development across the Eurasian landmass. She has worked in English language education in Macau SAR, China and Chinese language education in Charlottesville, Virginia. She earned her B.A. from the University of Virginia, where she double majored in foreign affairs and Chinese language and literature.
