Rose Parker is a program manager with the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Global Food and Water Security Program, where she oversees the program’s budget, event coordination, fundraising, and development. Prior to her work at CSIS, Rose led two health policy fellowships at the National Hispanic Medical Association. She began her career working with the Capacity Development team at the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM), where she coordinated international and domestic events and fellowships with a focus on early-career network-building in the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia. She was also a founding member of an employee resource group for early-career professionals while at NASEM. Rose’s interests include transboundary resource management, international STEM capacity building, and early-career development. She holds a BA in political science and hispanic studies and a correlate in women’s history from Vassar College.
