Research Assistant and Program Coordinator, Americas ProgramSarah Baumunk is a research assistant and program coordinator for the CSIS Americas Program. Her research interests include U.S. immigration policy, U.S. foreign policy in Latin America, refugee and immigration policy within the region, and Venezuela. She holds an M.P.A. and an M.A. in international relations from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, with concentrations in Latin American studies and the intersection between security and immigration. She also holds a B.A. in Spanish, with minors in Latin American studies and chemistry, from Wake Forest University.
