Sarah Watson is an associate fellow in the Wadhwani Chair in U.S.-India Policy Studies at CSIS, where she focuses on India’s economic and foreign policy. Her research areas include India's economic reforms, security dynamics in the Indian Ocean, and Indian domestic politics. Prior to joining CSIS, Ms. Watson worked in the private sector as a consultant focusing on South Asia and in various bureaus of the New York City Police Department. She holds a B.A. from Harvard University, an M.A. from Georgetown University's Security Studies Program, and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
