Tasneem Ahmed is a program manager with the Economic Security and Technology Department at CSIS, where she works closely with department leadership and staff to coordinate operations, programs, and priorities. Her work spans departmental planning, events and programming, affiliate and stakeholder engagement, communications, and the internship program. She also coordinates across CSIS and with external partners to advance department initiatives, support senior leadership, and strengthen engagement with the broader policy community. Her work brings together colleagues, researchers, and external stakeholders to support the department’s programming and priorities. Prior to joining CSIS, Tasneem worked in congressional offices in Washington, D.C., supporting office operations, legislative work, constituent services, and internship programs, as well as coordinating events for the House Democratic Caucus. She began her career in a congressional district office. A Southern California native, Tasneem earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Riverside.
