Tracy Starr is the associate director of the Project on Prosperity and Development at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Ms. Starr comes to CSIS from the field of international development, where she has worked as a business development and executive professional for over 10 years. She currently is a member of the Women in Foreign Policy working group of Washington D.C., a member of the Committee on Migration, and a member of Washington Women Leaders Association. She holds a BA in political science from American University and an MA in diplomacy with a concentration in conflict management and human rights from Norwich University. Ms. Starr is passionate about the plight of child and women refugees and their education and other resettlement issues they face.
