
Will Brown is a multi-award-winning Africa correspondent based in Nairobi for The Telegraph. Before joining The Telegraph, he was the West Africa correspondent for The Economist based in Dakar and a freelance journalist in India, where he worked on investigations into sex trafficking in Kolkata and New Delhi. He has reported in more than two dozen countries and has been published in, appeared on, or cited by more than 40 major news outlets. He has been cited by Human Rights Watch, the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, and the European and UK Parliaments. He has also briefed the U.S. State Department and Amnesty International researchers on potential war crimes. He has a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Manchester and a diploma in news reporting from the Press Association in London.
