Will Metts
Rear Admiral Will Metts is founder and CEO of Metts Consulting Enterprise LLC, which he established following 30 years in the U.S. Navy; 4 years as Director of Strategy for Northrop Grumman Corporation’s Mission Systems Sector; and 4 years as a national security and Department of Defense leader within Amazon Web Services. His organization provides strategic and operational Department of Defense, cyberspace operations, cybersecurity, and intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance expertise to defense-industrial and government clients. He held key flag officer and operational assignments, most recently as Director for Intelligence, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. Previously, he served as Deputy Director of Tailored Access Operations, National Security Agency, and Director for Intelligence, U.S. Cyber Command. Earlier in his naval career he was a surface warfare officer onboard naval combatants and an information warfare officer assigned to Commander, Carrier Strike Group Two onboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). He earned a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering technology from Savannah State University and master’s degrees in command, control, communications, computers and intelligence from the Naval Post Graduate School and national security studies and strategic planning from the Naval War College. He completed the Harvard University Senior Executive Fellows Program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government and is a strategy and statecraft fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Will is an advisory board member for George Mason University’s C5I Center, Board and Executive Committee member for the Fort Meade Alliance, and Technical Advisory Board member for Maryland’s Technology Advancement Center.
