William Caplan is a program coordinator and research assistant with the Project on Nuclear Issues (PONI) at CSIS. Prior to joining CSIS, he worked at the Center for the Study of Weapons of Mass Destruction at the National Defense University and at TradeSecure, LLC. His work on nonproliferation and deterrence has been featured in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and the Georgetown Security Studies Review. He is pursuing his M.A. in security studies from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and holds B.A. degrees in political science and international affairs from the University of Georgia.
