Yinuo Geng is a researcher and business leader focused on the ways in which companies, societies, and individuals engage and interact with emerging technologies. She is a vice president at Gartner, an S&P 500 company that provides insights and advice to business and technology leaders, where she leads a global team analyzing best practices for managing IT and infrastructure. She is also a non-resident adjunct fellow with the Strategic Technologies Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and a non-resident fellow and advisory council member with the Center on National Security at Georgetown University Law Center. She has written research on topics such as comparing deepfake regulations across different countries, assessing the meaning of transparency for AI/algorithms, and delineating the roles of technology executives in the management of societal risks from technological innovations. She also has experience speaking and presenting content on stage at global conferences. Yinuo Geng holds a Master of Law and Technology from the Georgetown University Law Center, a MA in international relations and economics from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a BA (Hon.) from the University of Toronto.
