Solar Tariffs and Trade

The U.S. International Trade Commission ruled in October 2017 that unfairly priced imported solar cells and modules, especially those from China, have caused injury to U.S. solar manufacturers and recommended new import tariffs and restrictions. President Trump is expected to make a final ruling very soon—considered his first major trade decision.
