CSIS facilitated the signing of a memorandum of agreement (MoA) for inter-institutional cooperation between The University of Massachusetts Amherst and the National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE) India.

The CSIS, supported by the SED Fund, was pleased to facilitate a singing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) and India’s Association of Renewable Energy Agencies of States (AREAS).

CSIS, along with CLEAN, hosted an Inter- state panel (public event) on reaching the unreached and an invitation only private roundtable discussion to build connections and share knowledge offering solutions to India’s energy access problem.

CSIS has been liaising with state power officials from the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu since February 2017 in an effort to uncover the state’s energy priorities.

Dr. Kartikeya Singh will also share key findings of CSIS research based on Indian state government and civil society feedback on priority areas open for stakeholders to partner with states beyond connections.
