PacTech Pulse
A monthly newsletter spotlighting country-specific reforms, policy changes, and business updates across the Indo-Pacific and Emerging Asia.
CSIS has launched a monthly digest that studies how other Indo-Pacific nations are developing technology policies that will improve their competitiveness in sectors like semiconductors, AI, advanced communications, and more. This is the first step in a larger Pac-Tech Partners initiative at CSIS to help U.S. policymakers better understand and prioritize engagement with rising Indo-Pacific nations in the realm of economic security and strategic technologies.
American economic security and winning the tech competition with China requires partnerships. Across the Indo-Pacific we have some traditional security-tech partners like Japan and Korea, Thailand; emerging partners like India, the Philippines, and Vietnam; and a range of nations that have, or will have, economic and security heft such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and Bangladesh.
